Effective Body Scrub Exfoliator Set

I tend to run fairly hit-and-miss with this type of body scrub, however, for the most part I do believe this coffee scrub body exfoliator delivers on its promises. It does so with a bit of messiness I’m not completely fond of, but for those who can appreciate the full-body experience it should deliver the goods at a high value price for this type of product.This set includes:1) A 7.1 ounce jar of Coffee Scrub Arabica that is noted as useful for spider veins, wrinkles, anti-cellulite, detox, and stretch marks.2) A mitt for application.3) A 4.2 ounce bottle of moisturizing lotion.The design is rather simple and does make this feel like a more generic product. At this price point, I wouldn’t call it a “dollar store” product but it’s also certainly not a premium set.While “coffee” is in the product title, it’s worth noting that coconut is also in here and is fairly dominant in terms of aroma. The coffee and coconut work together once applied and as you’re washing it all off you’ll definitely catch it. It fades fairly quickly.This product is noted as paraben-free, silicone-free, phthalate-free, and dyes-free.While I can see benefit to this set, it won’t be making my regular wellness regimen. I do like the scent of coffee and have found coffee benefits for my skin, but the overall process is just not what I go for with my body care and I didn’t see enough of a benefit to really change my opinion. However, the exfoliant, in particular, is effective while the moisturizing lotion tends to be a bit more generic. For me, this is a good but not great gift set but will work for anyone who’d like to find all these products in one simple set.

Generic packaging

I purchased this is a gift for a friend’s birthday. The packaging is fairly generic lookin, so it doesn’t look like anything special, but with the price point for the three items enclosed, it makes for a good gift to have on hand in your gift closet in case of need.

Didn’t really like the products

This set came well packaged. The box was sealed, and the items were individually wrapped in plastic. It’s a good value at $16.99 plus an extra 20% off right now. It would make a good gift. However, I didn’t personally love the products.The mitt looks exactly as pictured. The quality reminds me of something I could get at the dollar store, but it should fit most hands, has a loop for hanging, and isn’t too rough. The scrub was probably my least favorite. It’s a salt scrub that smells like coffee, yes, but also almost over roasted and chocolatey. It has the texture of wet sand – too dry, so it crumbles easily, is hard to scoop out, and doesn’t adhere as well to the body as sugar and oil scrubs. You will get it under your fingernails trying to scoop it out, probably drop some around the threads, jar, and bathtub, and have a trailing mess of salt and coffee grounds. As for the lotion, I didn’t care for the smell. It smells like coconut but there’s something else that reminds me of popcorn, car freshener, and old lady. It’s thin and absorbs quickly, but I will say my hands feel soft at least.

Enjoyable scrub and lotion; so-so mitt; nicely packaged

This is a set of three items: body lotion; a scrub made of coffee (and other ingredients) and an exfoliating mitt. It comes in a nicely packaged box, with a foam insert that holds the three items. Each item is also shrink wrapped. While there’s a fair amount of packaging waste, the items were very well protected. Even though the outer product box was very dented up from transit, the items inside were in perfect shape.The body lotion is, for me, the star of the show. It’s a medium-thick consistency, spreads easily, soaks in readily, and provides very good moisturizing without any greasy feel after applying it. The scent is light and vaguely floral. It’s not bad and doesn’t linger long. Still, a non-scented option would have been nice.The scrub is clearly coffee-based. You get a good coffee scent as soon as the lid is opened. The scent is magnified in the shower due to steam/hot water, but it’s not overpowering. Still, if you don’t care for the smell of coffee, this probably won’t be agreeable.It provides a good, deep scrub without being irritating. The mixture is loose and grainy in the tub, but scoops out easily. Since it’s grainy you do need to take care not to scoop out too much. I find applying it to a scrubber mitt/sponge/pouf first makes it a bit easier to handle when dry.The mitt is the least appealing item. It’s thin and cheap feeling. It’s functional, but it’s not a good quality mitt that will last.No info is provided on the product box or individual product bottles as to the country of manufacture. I assume these are made in China based on the price, but it’s disappointing that that info was not provided.The mitt aside, it’s a nice combo of products that are (in terms of the scrub) somewhat unusual and unique, and perform well. A pretty good value for the price. 4.5 stars.

Just okay

I’m on the fence with this set. The scrub is very dry and scatters all over when you try to grab some to apply. I’m accustomed to scrubs that have a base of some kind holding them together. The scrub was not moisturizing for me but it was exfoliating. The mitt is surprisingly decent compared to others I’ve gotten and doesn’t slip off. The moisturizer is okay. The set is well presented and would make a good addition to a spa basket or something similar.

Works great

Will leave skin feeling nice but a little dry. That’s expected with most facial cleansers. Either way, great and refreshing.

Lovely and a nice gift!

This is a wonderful scrub and lotion kit. The coffee scrub has a nice coffee scent and is not irritating towards the skin. The lotion also complements it well and the mitts are great for application. Overall, this would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves coffee and skincare and can especially used for any white elephant gifts.

Great from start to finish

This is a pretty straightforward Coffee, body scrub. Has a nice scent of coffee which is not over bearing. The mitten has a rough texture to it, which does great at exfoliating your skin. The nice part is after the bath or shower, putting on the moisturizer leaving your skin, feeling smooth and refreshed. Also, leaving you with that subtle hint of coffee scent. Perfect for evening wine down and relaxation. Also to help remove dry flaky dead skin. This would be great as a gift Or just for yourself

Very exfoliating

There’s so many great benefits to using a coffee body scrub but for me it’s reducing the appearance of cellulite. This scrub felt gentle on my skin. It made my body feel smooth and renewed. The coffee smell was good and not too strong. I used the lotion afterwards to lock in the moisture without feeling greasy. This combo set is a nice gift you can give your body. Highly recommend.

Excellent set!

The exfoliating cream reminds me of a product from an expensive well known brand, that is very similar, but much more expensive. This works just as well. The moisturizer is very good, and definitely gets into your skin, with positive effects. The mitt looks good, although I haven’t used it yet, but is more, or less, an added bonus. The value of the set is what you would pay for just one of the two items, of similar quality, so is a good value.

Smells like coffee

Makes my skin smooth and exfoliates. It smells like coffee so it’s great.
