It burns my lips
Unfortunately it hurts not only my lips but my friend’s too. I bought the pink lip sleep mask first, and I love it. Then I though using the green one for daily use will a great option, then I brought three of the green lip balms. However, three of us felt the lips burning after applying it. It burns then the lip turns red. Not recommending this at all. Buy the pink COSRX Lip Care Balm for Dry Chapped Lips, Enriched with Shea Butter Sleep Mask instead

Let me start by saying I do not leave bad reviews ever! The first set of photos are the first time delivery. I was so excited to try this and it arrived with and undamaged box, but when I opened the lid the product was used!! So I reordered because I really wanted to try this out. Still not a good experience. It was melted and the package was greasy.

Zero Plumping; Just a Basic Gloss
This creates zero plumping effect. Not that I had high hopes, but it literally does nothing. It’s just a sticky lip gloss that makes your lips tingle for a few minutes.

Not the typical quality of Cosrx products
I’ve never had a bad cosrx product but this one…it’s not jammy, it’s a grainy, thin consistency that needs reapplication within minutes and separates. Seriously grainy like a scrub, it’s odd. For this price, there are hundreds of other options.

A good lip scrub but a little bit waxy
This lip scrub worked well. It has a slight honey taste and sweetness to it it did feel a little bit on the waxy side but worked very well. It didn’t have much of a taste at all.

Good in a pinch
As soon as I saw this, I knew I had to order it because I was running low on my pot of a similar lip mask by a certain higher end skincare brand, I’ve had good luck with K-beauty (especially Cosrx), and it’s cheaper than my previous product.The consistency of this lip mask is much harder and oilier than it looks in the pictures. You really have to dig your finger in there in order to get out enough to cover your lips. It applies smoothly, albeit a bit thin and sticky (if you use too much, it feels strange on the lips rather than feeling like a thick mask). It also tastes like literally nothing. Like. Nothing. I’ve been trying to figure out a taste/scent of this product ever since I got it and it’s nothing. Which is fine if you’re sensitive to scents, but I’m not and I like my lip products to have a little bit of flavor.When I wake up after using this mask overnight, my lips feel smoother but not necessarily hydrated. It’s like it gives the surface some help but doesn’t soak all the way through. My dry skin feels softer but it’s not gone.Overall, I probably would not order this lip mask again and would splurge the extra $5 to get my name brand alternative, but this is a fair dupe that works fine.

New formula? Seems soft and hydrating but very melty texture
Based on past reviews of this product it seems like they may have changed the formula. The lip mask reviewed here was purchased in October 2022, for reference.This lip mask comes in a jar with a little scoop. The jar I received was about 3/4 full, and the texture is soft. It’s less “sticky” than other lip sleeping masks I’ve used, which does mean it wears off faster.The texture is pretty much exactly what you’d get with a melted lip balm that has a high oil content. If you’ve ever left a lip balm in your pocket and found it softened, that’s the same texture as this. This isn’t necessarily bad, although as a matter of personal preference I’d prefer something that stays on a little thicker. This product feels like it “spreads” off my lips a bit once it’s on. I haven’t had any breakouts around my lips so far but I do wonder about that.It’s not a bad product, and I didn’t have any issues with it being grainy or hard which is something that came up in past reviews. However I’m not sure that it’s worth the cost compared to other lip sleeping masks that are similarly priced, unless you’re looking for a very soft and less sticky texture. You also might have to reapply this much more frequently than other overnight marks. For me, applying it before I went to bed wasn’t enough, it felt like it wore off. Corsx generally makes great products but this isn’t one of my favorites.

Had higher hopes for this product
I have loved every product from COSRX that I have tried, which is quite a few. But this product left me pretty unimpressed. The plumping effect was less intense than I was expecting. BUT on the sense of moisturizing, it checks that box!

Great Lip Mask
I’ve been putting this on at night to keep my lips moisturized and I think it works really well! The only thing I don’t love is that I wake up and my lips are kind of sticky. They’re still moisturized, just left with a sticky feeling that’s kind of strange.

Don’t need, but nice
This came unsealed, in a box. There’s a plastic cover under the lid. It includes a tiny spatula. It smells good – subtly sweet and nutty. You only need a teeny bit, and it’s not too abrasive. I feel like this is something you could whip up yourself for far less, but it’s currently $19 with an extra 20% off and it appears there’s a promo to get free acne patches.

I love lip products out of necessity! I am Prone to dry skin and lips. This stuff was recommended by my sister, I think you can get other products that are similar for a lot less money.

Works good for me, but petroleum is first ingredient
sometimes a little petroleum seems to help me out, to hold the moisture of another mask on overnight (mix the meme one with Laneige and some squalane oil and it’s better than anything solo), but I know a lot of people don’t use it, and it wasn’t listed so…yeah; as a first ingredient this is a bit pricey.(Have tried so many lip masks and oils)Edit after using it more: yeah petroleum is the first ingredient and it is a bit pricy considering ($20 when I got it) that…..but, the thing works really nice. Way better than other stuff with petroleum so it isn’t just aquaphor or Vaseline.as far as what works and stays on: bom keo (or whatever), meme, and this one are the best I’ve found on Amazon. I like them better than Laneige, especially mixed with a lip oil, as Laneige seems to leave my lips raw and sorta burned. Took forever to figure that out.Edit again weeks later: bring it back I miss it. It worked.

Long lasting moisture
This product keeps my lips moisturized all day. It tingles when first applied, but not badly. I would not say it adds volumn to the lips, but I have found that none do. However, I love that it continues to moisturize after applying it in the morning with long lasting results. I will continue to purchase as I view this cosmetic company to product good quality skin careat a fraction of the cost.

Minimally Moisturizing
I didn’t find this to hydrate my lips at all. Like a cheap Chapstick type balm, you put it on and it disappears shortly thereafter and when it does, your lips feel dry again. It is not absorbed by your lips at all. Nor is it anywhere near as luxurious feeling as the Laneige mask. Once this jar is done I will be buying another Laneige jar.

It’s NOT what it looks like
(First of all I’m sorry cosrx, I love you, but this is a $20 mistake!1) the jar isn’t full like the pictures…only about 1/2 full2) it’s not a “juicy” looking “Vaseline type” of consistency3) it’s sub par as far as performance (gave it 2 stars because it is better than a tube of chapstick)Let’s talk about the product…packaging is super cute, comes with the spatula that you’ll use once and lose, but it looks NOTHING like advertised. The half-full jar is pretty small and the product is hard. You have to scrape it out. The cute little spatula needs to go and the product should be in stick form so I’m not digging my nails in the jar to get the product out. The product looks so velvety and hydrating. It’s not. My lips needed more product in ten minutes. Womp womp womp.I have dehydrated oily skin, rosacea, and I use almost all cosrx items exclusively. The snail mucin products and rice mask are holy grail items I covet. This “lip balm” in a fancy pink jar is terrible. If you have dry lips this isn’t for you. You’ll get instant relief, but then you’ll need more in ten minutes. I’m going back to my holy grail lip product (comes in a light green tube for less than $20…from the company every girl probably started her skincare or makeup with in the 90’s…thank you for the one holy grail item I brag about, Clinique!).Don’t blow $20 on a lip balm that’s going to disappoint!

I am a big fan of COSRX, but this is not a 5 star product
Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this scrub. I love COSRX and have been their fan since probably 2016 ( if not 2015), but this product is just odd. To begin with, $17 for a lip scrub is intense; the packaging is not 100% hygienic – tubes are typically much better when it comes to skincare and lip products specifically (I mean, I already lost the spatula, lol). Then I accidentally tasted the scrub a bit while exfoliating my lips, and it was not great, yiish…Nevertheless, the scrub does work, the ingredient list is fine, and it makes my lips very soft and exfoliates them very gently without irritating the skin. One thing I would say, please re-think the packaging. A tip: once you exfoliate your lip, apply a thin layer of your eye cream, wait till it absorbs, and then follow up with a lip balm or lip mask.

A little too greasy for my liking
If you’ve ever used a lip mass or lip scrub before you know that sometimes some work better than others. With the specific one I felt like the was too much grease on my lips.Inside of the package you’ll get the lip scrub and then a little spoon that you can use to lather the product all over your lips. Are you here to after that is gently rub it all over your lips until soft and then rinse thoroughly with water.I noticed that the results that I got in my lips, although smooth, still feeling a little bit drier than usual. Overall, I think I would only use this in certain instances, but I would probably instead get a lip mass that keeps the moisture on my lips.

Nice but pricey
I like this product but it’s definitely not a holy grail or anything revolutionary. I feel like it works fairly comparably to other lip scrubs I’ve tried. The sugar particles are fairly fine, so it’s on the gentler side, which is good and bad. It’s great in that it doesn’t irritate your lips, and while I do feel like it helps buff off dry skin, I think scrubs with larger particles can be a bit more effective.It does leave my lips feeling more moisturized, and I like that the flavor is natural and not too overbearing. Overall, I like it but I don’t think it’s worth $19.

I have extremely dry, sensitive skin and my lips tend to get flakey and peel especially in the winter. This scrub is easy to use and leaves my lips soft and smooth.I like that it’s dedicated for use on your lips only because it is more moisturizing than a facial scrub.

Very small for the price

Very softening, a little bit goes a long way!
I put this on at night but it can also be used during the day. It comes with a small scoop so you can get it out the jar and keep the rest sanitary, and a little bit goes a long way. It has a sort of thick, pomade texture that goes on the lips well and doesn’t turn greasy. This has no real discernable taste or scent which is great if you’re sensitive to smells. The price is a little high for me but it does have quality ingredients. I would consider buying this again.

Nice lip scrub!
I really liked this lip scrub. It comes with a tiny spoon for you to scoop some product out.The smell is okay, it smells faintly of honey, but a little perfumey. I will say if you get some of the lip scrub onto your tongue (as you most likely will) it definitely tastes like perfume and not honey.It did a great job of getting all of the dead skin off my lips and they felt very soft afterwards. 🙂

This is an okay lip scrub. I definitely prefer the ones that are like lipsticks since you don’t have to use your fingers with those, but I wanted to give this a try since I do like COSRX products. I tried it tonight and I feel like the sugar crystals aren’t abrasive enough to do much of anything. I understand that some lip scrubs can be too abrasive, but I felt like these just melted before they really did any exfoliating. I also hated the taste. I try my best to not let lip scrubs get in my mouth, but a bit of this did and I just couldn’t stand it. It wasn’t pleasant at all. I will continue to use it, but in all actuality, I’m not 100% happy with this product.

Gentle exfoliator
So to compare, I was using the ELF version previously. I did like that one, tasted nice but the grit was almost too much. This one is really nice! The grit is finer and gentler, and left my lips feeling soft and not in any pain lol! The taste is extremely light, no chemical taste or smell. I really like it so far!

Overnight lip repair
This balm is scent free and applies smoothly. It’s not like a petroleum jelly or a hard wax, but somewhere in between like a soft beeswax. It feels slightly greasy on your lips but not any worse than any similar balms commercially available. It’s marketed as a night application balm but it can be used throughout the day. This seems like a high quality product that will do what it claims to heal my dry and cracked lips.

This lip scrub was very much needed for my dry lips. I struggle deeply with chapped lips and this makes them feel so much better. It’s thick and easy to apply, the consistency of frosting almost. I accidentally got some in my mouth and it’s not the most horrible thing I’ve tasted. It definitely helped with the exfoliation of my lips.

Gentle lip scrub
This is a gentle lip scrub that smells a little like baked goods. The tub is pretty small, but only a very small amount of product is needed so I think it will last for a long time. The product is soft and fairly smooth. It left my lips feeling smooth and soft, with no irritation. I think this will be very useful over the winter when my lips are drier. I would recommend it!

Went to sleep with some pretty chapped lips because of the weather change here in the Midwest. When I woke up they weren’t chapped anymore and felt extremely soft and moisturized. It comes with an applicator that is very easy to grab the product with and apply. Has a good smell as well.

This lip scrub is very nice! My favorite part about it is, it doesn’t just dissolve on its own. It stays rough until you rinse it off. So, you can use it for as long as you need when you apply it! And, once you’re finished, it really does make your lips super soft!! It works!! Highly recommend!

Not my favorite but does help exfoliate
I love this brand and was happy to see a lip collection. This lip scrub has a very subtle honey scent and has very small granular to help exfoliate. I get dry lips and skin peeling because I have braces and I prefer a thick granual scrub to really remove the skin. This is more of an exfoliation and helps plump lips. After washing off the scrub your lips will feel dry so apply a lip balm or the sleep mask!

This lip sleep ceramide lip butter sleeping mask leaves your lips feeling hydrated and silky smooth. I will say that I was caught off guard at how small the container is, at only 0.7 ounces. For the price point being $20, I find this a bit expensive.However, the sleeping mask itself is very hydrating, and the consistency is much thicker than I had envisioned. It is a thick balm, and will last longer than you think given the consistency.While I really like this product, I can’t say that I would order it again at this price point. However if you are in need of lip hydration with an overnight lip mask, this might be the perfect product for you.

Very moisturizing, soft and easy to scoop
Love the aesthetic look of the jar. It actually looks like frosted glass, but it’s a thick frosted plastic, with a tin(I believe) screw on cap. It has a plastic seal underneath, that’s thankfully really easy to lift. It also comes with a tiny little frosted plastic scooper. The scooper doesn’t look like it fits under the lid, but if you lay it across, you can still screw on the lid, it doesn’t completely close, but it’s enough where it won’t open, and the scooper won’t fall out, so it’s still pretty secure.I wish the jar was filled up more, since there is some empty space in it. The label is peel-able, so if you would like to take it off and leave nothing, you have the choice, I tested it and it left no sticky residue at all. The scooper is small, but it worked great on scooping the scrub out. What I really like is that the actual scrub is not stiff and hard like others I have tried, it’s buttery soft and smooth. It goes on smooth and i didn’t have any sugar fallout on my chin, etc. The sugar is not big and rough on the lips, its a lot more gentle than others, but it still did a great job at exfoliating, and this lip scrub is very moisturizing. I didn’t really get any cocoa scent until I started massaging it in my lips, and it was subtle, so great for sensitive noses.Overall, I love the jar, the easy to screw on/off lid, scooper, and the soft and moisturizing scrub. It’s a win for me, and i would 100% recommend.

This sleeping mask product is packaged so nicely and also comes with something to apply at night. The pictures look like the mask is very wet and what I have is a putty type consistency. Maybe mine is old? My lips do feel nice in the morning after wearing it overnight. I think this would be a really good stocking stuffer idea for a preteen or teenage girl.

Amazing lip exfoliator, perfect for dry season
This lip scrub is a really nice addition to my fall and winter lip care regimen. It’s very easy to use and super effective. You take a tiny amount, use your finger to apply and rub on your lips, and rinse off. The granules are not too large, but not extremely fine either – it has a great level of abrasiveness that invigorates the skin of my lip and leaves it smooth and soft after a minute of gentle scrubbing. After washing away the granules with water, you’re left with a thin layer of moisture barrier that protects the lips.Lipstick goes on much more smoothly after treatment and I don’t have any lingering, flaky, dry, dead skin hanging around. It takes a minute to use this product effectively. A tiny amount makes a big difference, so I expect this small container of scrub to last a very long time.

Update: I’ve been using this every other day and I look forward to using it. It really has made a difference on decreasing dry, chapped lips.I’ve never used a scrub specific for my lips – just some of the charcoal face scrub that I already have. But this lip scrub is far superior than using that! My lips felt smooth and moisturized after using this scrub. Works on dry lips!
As part of my night time routine I always put on some type of lip treatment before bed. I just started using this and I wake up with soft and smooth lips. I was outside in the wind and sun over the weekend and I could tell my lips were wind/sun burned a bit and by morning they felt great. No dryness at all. Comes with a little weird spoon to scoop it out but I feel like that gives me too much product so I just use my finger like a jar of carmex. Works perfectly.

Best lip balm
My lips get super dry especially in winter. I have used this every night the past week. I noticed a difference after night 2. My lips are so soft and smooth all day. It says you can also apply it during the day but I haven’t needed to. It doesn’t really have a flavor and is a thicker Vaseline like consistency. It even comes with an unnecessary but adorable little applicator.

I’ve used a lot of items from this brand but this might be my least favorite. It just doesn’t feel like something that’s a good fit for me. I’m not sure what I expected when ordered but it seems like a fairly basic item that I could compare to regular store items.

COSRX Balancium Ceramide Lip Butter Sleeping MaskThe ingredients in this lip balm are pretty basic. It is very hydrating and moisturizing for my super dry lips. It hasn’t caused rebound dryness. I just don’t see anything or have any results that this balm is life-changing. Yes, it’s good but so is Chapstick. This did give my lips a bit of volume and plumped up fine lines. It has no taste or smell.The jar is way oversized so this isn’t something you could carry around with you for reapplication. I think it is more of a night treatment. The jar holds 20 grams and is basic plastic with a metal cap. It comes with a small plastic spatula for application. Not bad, but expensive and somewhat drying.
So far, I think this lip scrub is of decent quality. It’s easy to spread onto the lips, and I didn’t find it to be irritating or unpleasant-tasting like some other scrubs I’d tried. Additionally, a little goes a long way, and it’s a good viscosity where it’s not too thick or runny. My lips felt softer and smoother after using it. I also like the little included plastic spatula, and that the tub comes with a removable label to make it easier to reuse the tub for other things afterwards.This lip scrub does have some flaws, however. I found it to be rather drying. While this can be an issue with any physical exfoliant, I wish it contained more moisturizing ingredients to combat this. Additionally, I found this scrub to be rather expensive for the quality and quantity of the product, especially since it left my lips feeling somewhat dried out.Overall, this lip scrub isn’t bad, but it also isn’t good enough that I’d personally recommend it, especially at the current price point of over $17.

Nice but Thin Formula
This is nice lip ‘butter’ but…it is Far from a ‘butter’ lip formula. It Looks like Butter, yes. But, when applying this to your lips it is a very thin formula! It does feel nice and there is a very minimal fresh scent.But, I just do not find that it last long after application. It does feel nice for the time it’s on your lips. And, you don’t need much product at all. But, it just melts off or comes off easily. I find myself reapplying very often when using.I recommend this stuff if you are looking for a thinner lip balm formula! The packaging is very cute and they make a lip scrub to accompany this that can be purchased separately!
