I was struggling to find a facial sunscreen that was light and that didn’t leave a white sheen on my face. This sunscreen is so light and spreads easily. Working fine for my acne prone skin
Have been using it for a week now, it pills slightly depending on long you wait to put on the sunscreen after you’ve put a moisturizer on. But overall besides that it’s doing fine on my acne prone and textured areas where I still have white and black bumps.I’ve tried other brands, la roche posay both mineral and not mineral, I’ve tried a hylaronic acid sunscreen. All of which either left me too oily at the end of the day, red because my face is red and inflamed where I the acne. Or just started rubbing off on the textured skin where the acne bumps were.So far this has yet to do any of that, but it has only been a week.

Doesnt go well with tretinoin
I apply my tretinoin at night. The next day Ill use the sunscreen before leaving the house and it makes me skin dryer and peel instantly after applying to my skin… not sure why but this isnt the first spf moisturizer to do it to me. Otherwise this would be a good product but probably not worth me spending that much when I can get equal quality for half the price

Great for Acne-Prone Skin!
Let me tell you how this is my holy grail. One of the features I love about this product is its ability to easily moisturize and blend into my skin without leaving a white cast! It’s a great product to add to my skincare routine and super friendly for those with oily skin. The smooth and light texture leaves my skin protected from the sun and I only ever need to reapply 1-2 times!

Maybe it’s not for me?
It was easy to spread however I noticed with my acne care products it began pilling- or coming right off my skin in the form of little balls of hardened product. As a person who doesn’t like to waste product and not wear makeup this was disappointing. With my hormonal acne, maybe it’s not for me.

I am allergic to the sun and most sunscreens break me out. I can only wear mineral based products and no longer wear makeup except It Bye Bye Redness where I need it. This sunscreen is very easy to apply and spreads easily. No pulling and tugging. I am fair so I have no ghostly white coating, but a nice glow under my moisturizer. Two people commented that I looked really good (I wouldn’t go that far). I have been out twice and have no burning from riding in the car or breaking out of any type. It does not itch or burn and none of my dark spots got darker. Thanks to all of reviewers who gave great information and convinced me to buy yet another expensive facial product that really works this time. Don’t change this product, please. After using this several times I am sold on this sunscreen and will only use it in the future.

Seriously recommend this sunscreen to anybody who has sensitive skin. I bought after seeing Hailey Bieber use it. I got tempted but overall I would recommend this to anybody. It is a little bit expensive for face sunscreen but it last worth it money. I have used The tinted moisturizer as well and works just as great. But overall I do like just a plain sunscreen that I can put on my day today I have noticed also that my skin is clearer after putting on the sunscreen which is a surprise to me because I thought it was going to clog my pores. Overall I feel like it has great protection and works super well with my sense of skin highly recommend this for anybody!

I have tried many and I mean many sunscreens and this one is by far the best out there! It is expensive but worth every penny. It has a really nice texture and feels more like facial moisturizer, also no fragrance! Most sunscreens smell like sunscreen and I hate that, this one does not have any scent at all! Best one out there!

Wonderful sunscreen
I love this hybrid sunscreen and I use it most days.Consistency – Easy to spread, however if you keep blending, it pills. I may have to try the UV clear spf 40 as one of the reviewers has mentioned.White cast – There is a very mild white cast on my brown skin (due to the zinc) but it is not as noticeable as that of mineral sunscreens.Fragrance – I am not sure if its fragrance free completely but I get a tiny bit of nice scent :)I have acne prone skin, but this hasn’t caused any break outs for me.Overall it is a good sunscreen except the high cost part.

I hate sunscreen, but I love this product
It has almost no smell, and zero of the typical chemical “sunscreen smell.” It spreads easily, and as a fair skinned person, there is no white streaking. A lot of physical/zinc sunscreens leave a lot of white and don’t spread evenly, but this one is great. It feels nice – not greasy, slimy, or gross like most sunscreens. I can easily use this daily without feeling icky, so I’m thrilled. I’ll be adding this to my daily skincare regimen for the foreseeable future!

A Favorite
One of my favorite sunscreens. I have rosacea so I need a sunscreen that won’t make it worse and EltaMD Clear is perfect for this. Note that it is hard to wear makeup over this particular sunscreen so I use it on days I don’t wear makeup. But it goes on like a moisturizer and doesn’t dry out my skin.

I can not recommend this product more. I love how it goes on, love how it makes my skin feel. If you have dry skin, not the most moisturizing but if you have normal-oily skin i think this is perfect. I use it after my regular moisturizer since it’s not the most moisturizing but still offers a little moisture. Hasn’t broken me out, if anything it’s made my skin sooo smooth and look better. Amazing product.

I have super sensitive skin and could never wear sunscreen on my face without waking up the next day with pimples. I tried this sunscreen hoping since it was geared towards acne prone skin hoping it would do the trick… My hopes were low as I have tried many other “acne prone” sunscreens and they all failed. I was skeptical trying this but applied it after my morning skin care routine. First off, let me start my saying it make your skin look amazing. It gives your skin this beautiful glow that looks like it comes from within. It has no scent which is great and is very light but also moisturizing as well. It doesn’t leave your face feeling tacky/sticky and honestly feels like you have nothing on after rubbing it in. I’m not one to normally write reviews but this definitely deserves a good one! its beautiful by itself and also under makeup! If you’re on the fence about it like I was, just go ahead and buy it! you wont regret it

Super stuff, worth it
It’s expensive anywhere you go honestly. It’s great stuff though. I have super sensitive skin and I have zero breakouts from this. It doesn’t leave a weird cast, it’s helped with my sun spots and it’s absorbs quickly with a nice moisturized feel vs a greasy feel. My skin soaks it right up.Sun protection wise it’s fine, it’s a higher protection than some others out there but it’s not so high it turns into a mask on your skin. Recommend if your looking for an everyday moisturizing sunscreen. I use my serums and lotion ontop of it as well.

My FAVORITE Sunscreen! Acne-Prone Sensitive Skin
Is it expensive? Yes. But is it worth it? Yes yes and YES. I suffer from acne scars due to not putting on sunscreen, and now I’m trying to heal my acne scars as fast as possible. This sunscreen has helped speed up my recovery! It really helped clear 50% of my hyperpigmentation, and I’ve only been using this for a few months. I’m sure with a fee more months, my acne scars will fade hopefully.The fact that this sunscreen has niacinamide and zinc oxide alone is worth it to me. Not a lot of sunscreens have these. Also, my skin is pretty sensitive yet it didnt react negatively to this sunscreen. I recommend it for people who are like me trying to recover from acne scars and hyperpigmentation. No sticky feeling after and no white streaks left.

Fantastic product!
My dermatologist recommended this facial sunscreen. All others I’ve tried were gummy and white, and did not do well with makeup. The EltaMD 46 sunscreen goes on with a lovely smooth texture, and no white sheen. Because I also use Tretinoin, which makes my skin dry, I put moisturizer (cerave) over the sunscreen.There is nothing greasy about this combo, and I can also use makeup with no problem. EltaMD is well worth the cost.

One of the best sunblocks
I have tried many sunblocks on my skin. This by far is one of the best. I can wear it under makeup or alone. It does not clog my pores. My skin is combination and acne prone. My skin will get dry in the winter. It leaves sort of a dewy look on your skin.

Won’t Cause Breakouts
My dermatologist recommended this lightweight sheer-coverage sunscreen for daily use under makeup. Unfortunately, in my forties, I am still prone to breakouts (I am trying to pretend I am young…), so having sunscreen that doesn’t clog pores is important. My only complaint is that it is not very moisturizing despite being a cream. It dries fast and doesn’t provide the moisture I need under makeup. It works well enough, and breakouts matter more than moisture.

Dark Skin Perspective
I was using the another sunscreen but switched to a mineral sunscreen as advised by my dermatologist. It is a good product but it does leave a slight cast on my deep complexion. It’s not something that lingers but dissolves in a small amount of time. It blends well under makeup. I would’ve given this five stars BUT for the cast. In terms of protection for AA skin type, I think this mineral screen is one of the better ones out there. I toggle between this and Super Goop based on pricing/better deal.

I have used this product for yours and love it! I have Melasma and this sunscreen has helped to prevent it getting worse. I do not get breakouts or think that it smells funny.
